Book Wild BC was built the way most good things on this coast are built — slowly, by hand, and with a lot of weather in between. It started as GrayStone Adventures: one boat, a love of the Alberni Inlet, and a growing fleet running charters, tours and lodging out of Port Alberni's Harbour Quay.

Then we noticed something. The best days on this coast come from local crews — the boardwalk captain in Bamfield, the lodge host with a catch freezer in the garage — and most of them are nearly impossible to find, let alone book. So we opened our platform to them. Book Wild BC is now a marketplace of vetted local outfitters across Vancouver Island's westcoast, with one trusted checkout, verified guest reviews, and real humans answering the phone.

Every operator on the platform is exactly that — an operator. Certified captains, insured boats, hosts who live where you're staying. We check every listing before it goes live, every review comes from a verified booking, and your payment is held by Book Wild BC, not a stranger's inbox.
